Background

One of the most ambitious films in cinematic history, Dead Ohio Sky is a sprawling crime drama that was made entirely by 2 individuals (Andrew Abraido and Daniel Taveras) between 2006 and 2007. Clocking in at a whopping 2 hours and 22 minutes (including 2 trailers that were shot specifically to play before the feature) Dead Ohio Sky is a product unlike anything any 2 filmmakers have ever tried to accomplish before. The film was shot using action figures, miniature sets, and a Canon 5-megapixel PowerShot SD400.

Synopsis

A crime drama in the city that never sleeps. You've never seen anything like this before. Seasoned NYPD lieutenant James Pearce has just returned for another stint in the Big Apple. With his eyes on new challenges that await him and his mind on the past that will forever haunt him, James tries to find a balance to save himself and protect the city he loves.

But not everything is as it seems…
